5 Ways To Grab Your Prospects Attention Without Being “Salesy or Over The Top”
Has this ever happened to you?
So you’ve got an awesome product or service you’re trying to sell, but no one is paying attention. Ugh.
I know, I’ve been there! I never felt like my voice was being heard and used to think if I could just get the right person to read or listen…
It’s a huge frustration for many networkers and entrepreneurs and it’s a question I get asked a lot.
“How to find my tribe and get them to stop the scroll and realize that what I have can help them?”
That’s why I wanted to share my five best tips for getting your prospects attention on social without being “over the top,” using an annoying salesy type message or posting things like: STOP THE SCROLL! #BeenThereDoneThat
1.) Ask a Question. This is a question that is relevant to your ideal client’s pain points. A questions regarding a problem that your ideal client has and needs a solution to — Just make sure it’s not one that’s negative or calls people out. For example: “Would you like to make healthy meals your entire family will eat?” and then provide tips. Or, “What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to running your home business and remote school classroom?”
2.) Make a BOLD statement regarding your niche. This can be a contradictory statement or something you stand by. Maybe if you think “Breakfast isn’t the most important meal of the day” or I might say something like, “Hey Girl messages don’t work — Here’s what I do instead!”
3.) Use Visual Cues. Most people don’t read full text posts. Take a second and think if there’s an image that would work with this post and at a minimum add background color.
4.) Add Text To Your Image. Have a catchy headline on your image, but if you’re using paid advertising, facebook will not allow this.
5.) Use a Prop. Have an attention grabbing prop that you can make relevant to your post, just make sure if it’s a rubber duckie or you’re wearing a sombrero that it also suits your personality.
Curiosity is a really powerful emotion, try and it and let me know how it works out!
